For a student phone installment, you need to be 18 or above and a registered university / college student, with your IC, student card and proof of enrollment. No payslip and no guarantor are required for the PAYEX Student Plan. Approval usually takes 1β2 working days.
Who is eligible for a student phone installment?
You are eligible if you are a registered student aged 18 or above at a university or college. You do not need fixed income or a payslip.

- Registered student (university / college / foundation / diploma).
- Have a valid student card and proof of enrollment.
What documents do you need?
- A copy of your MyKad (IC).
- Student card / matric card.
- Enrollment letter or course registration slip.
That is all the basic documents β no payslip and no bank statement needed for the Student Plan.
Do you need a payslip or guarantor?
No. This is the key difference between the Student Plan and the normal installment plan: no payslip and no guarantor are needed. You apply as a student, not as a salary earner.
